The Government of Ontario launched the Improving Connectivity for Ontario (ICON) program, which can fund broadband and cellular infrastructure projects where there is a need for better service. This is part of the province's $315 million initiative Up to Speed: Ontario’s Broadband and Cellular Action Plan.
The Ministry of Infrastructure is hosting webinars to provide an overview of ICON and our connectivity mapping tool, and to answer questions you may have about the program.
The webinar for Indigenous communities and groups will be held on Wednesday, August 5 at 2:00pm EDT.
If you cannot make it on Wednesday, we will also host a webinar that is open to all interested communities and organizations on Friday, August 7 at 2:00pm EDT.

If you have not used Webex before, please allow enough time prior to the start of the webinar to either download the Webex desktop application or install the Webex extension for the Chrome web browser. Please sign into the webinar 5-10 minutes before the start time in order to ensure that you have the correct software installed. There is also a call-in number if you do not have access to the Webex platform on your computer. We will send the presentation out after the webinar.
