Map of COVID-19 Cases and Testing in Canada

Developed by Jean-Paul R. Soucy and Isha Berry, Dalla Lana School of Public Health, University of Toronto. Data curated by the COVID-19 Canada Open Data Working Group. All data used to produce this map are exclusively collected from publicly available sources including government reports and news media.


Reported cases are cumulative and include both confirmed and presumptive positive cases. Repatriated cases are included in the total but not shown in the map below.


As of April 2, 2020 there are:


Reported cases > 11,778Total recovered > 1,971Total deaths > 170Total tested > 286,155

To view the map, click the link below. When the link has opened, click on Case Map at the bottom under Overview and Reported Cases. A new left hand side menu will open, select Ontario on the drop down list at the top with the heading – Province. This will bring up Ontario specific information.
